Even with the help of online dating, it’s still just plain tough to start a meaningful relationship. We knew something was missing, which got us thinking…
In our personal lives, the best dates we’ve been on were set up by real people, not by websites, despite millions of searchable profiles and thousands of lines of code. When it comes to compatibility, we think human intuition always beats computer algorithms. The more we talked, the more we realized that the best chance for a real match is with a real matchmaker.

Realizing this, we threw away the computer algorithms and decided to create a place for real matchmakers to help singles find amazing matches.

Because we are an online network guided by a community of real matchmakers, MyMatchmaker has all of the conveniences of being online and social, but none of the drawbacks of those million-profile-computer-algorithm sites. We believe that you should be in charge of your privacy. We let you choose whether other singles on the site can see you and how they can contact you. You can even customize your settings to have your Matchmaker filter messages and date requests for you, so you don’t get overloaded with more requests than you can handle. Of course, if you want to allow other singles to message you directly, that’s also an option built into our system.
