My Background / Bio

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on the social psychology of romantic relationships, with coursework in Marital Research Lab, Coding of Marital Therapy, Clinical Interviewing of Couples, and Social Psychology. I’ve worked on projects related to couples therapy and marital satisfaction and published a thesis on romantic love. A hobby of mine is performing spoken word poetry, including representing the Nuyorican Slam Team in the 2005 Nationals. I also have a Master’s degree in Education and am currently a Statistics teacher and head of the math department at a high school in Manhattan. My math background gives me a unique edge as a matchmaker in that I apply analysis and logic to determine optimal matches.
